The Edison Bengali Club is dedicated to spreading our culture to the Middlesex County region and future generations, even while being 8,000 miles away from our homeland. Our club is funded solely by memberships, donations, and fundraising events organized and supported by volunteers. Events like our Saraswati Puja, which honors the Hindu goddess Saraswati, are crucial for raising funds to support our organization and to help our home country in times of need. India is a developing country with over 200 million individuals struggling with poverty every day. Basic necessities such as water, food, shelter, and clothing are still lacking for over two-thirds of India's population. At the Edison Bengali Club, we strive to make a positive impact on the community around us while highlighting the rich culture of Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
To register for the event, please email us if you're interested in attending.
