The Edison Bengali Club began informally in 2009 when a group of friends gathered to celebrate their shared love for Indian culture and the Hindu religion. The idea of hosting a Saraswati Puja and creating something meaningful for our children originated during a discussion at one of our founder member's homes. This led to a formal meeting at the residence of one of our Directors, with sixteen founding members in attendance. Since then, EBC has grown significantly, thanks to the unwavering support of all our members. In December 2022, the Edison Bengali Club was officially recognized as a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation. We are committed to preserving and sharing our Asian heritage and the culture of West Bengal for generations to come.
